15 good reasons not to give up on sports as winter approaches

Temperatures are dropping, days are getting shorter, motivation is dropping... No doubt, winter is coming. Between the post-school period and the pre-winter depression period, we all have only one desire, to hibernate.

So to counter all that, we've come up with 15 good reasons to keep up your exercise routine, despite the cold weather (and the 5:30 p.m. darkness)!

Reason 1 To maintain your Olympic shape and be in top form on the slopes during your vacation with friends. You won't want to be the only one who can't finish the blue run.

Reason 2 : Because winter = raclettes, fondues, raclettes, fondues. And raclettes. It is therefore essential to have a good conscience.

Reason 3 : This year's Christmas dinner is going to last another 3 days. You get the idea: run more to eat more.

Reason 4 : Because it's freezing, quite simply. Nothing better than a good jog to warm up and invigorate the muscles!

Reason 5 : Running will be your new favorite way to heat. And it's free.

Reason 6 Legend has it that running at low temperatures helps fight disease by flushing out all the toxins. Shall we take the bet?

Reason 7 : M-8 before the Summer Body. We say that, we say nothing.

Reason 8 Because in addition to sharpening your body, you work on your mind and clear your head. Nothing like it for a maximum productivity.

Reason 9 To avoid starting over at the beginning of January and not wait to make your new resolutions.

Reason 10 You have 10 more Strava challenges to complete, so get moving.

Reason 11 To test your new shoes shopped at -70% on Private Sport Shop.

Reason 12 It's even nicer to curl up under a blanket and watch your favorite show after a good session.

Reason 13 : Because doing sports at night means experiencing new sensations. Plus, everyone is asleep, so even if you cough up your lungs, no one will laugh.

Reason 14 : It's harder to start over than to continue. CQFD.

Reason 15 Because you'll come out of winter feeling great! Playing sports when it's cold is a way to boost your immune system, increase your white blood cells and avoid catching all the nasty winter viruses. In short, it's all good.
