Kilian Bron wins the Mountain Of Hell 2023!

The Private Sport Shop ambassador rode a perfect race in the final of the Mountain Of Hell to claim a fourth victory in this legendary event.

For almost 10 years, Kilian Bron has been at the start of the Mountain Of Hell. This ultra-famous enduro mountain bike race was held this weekend in Les 2 Alpes. 951 riders took part in the event, which starts, as it does every year, on the glacier at 3200 m altitude. This means that you have to know how to elbow your way through the first few hundred meters of snow before you can expect to see the stony ground that makes up the majority of the route.

After that, a dizzying 2300 m descent awaits participants. The aim is to reach the village of Venosc and avoid the many pitfalls along the way, while protecting their equipment. No easy task... Kilian Bron is an expert in this field. We'll let you discover his complete run during the final in the video below.

After just over 22 minutes of racing, the Private Sport Shop ambassador finally came out on top, ahead of Alexis Chenevrier and Belgian Olivier Bruwiere. "I love the Mountain of Hell," Kilian explained at the finish. "It's a race that I prepare for mentally and physically, so that I'm fully concentrated in the moment. I was able to stall, relax and regain the upper hand, particularly on the climbs, where you can lose the race at any moment, so mental and physical fitness, stress management and commitment are all very important... All the planets this year were aligned to go all the way and win. It's a fourth victory for the Frenchman after his successes in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
