Third star for Isabeau Courdurier!

This weekend in Châtel, the Private Sport Shop ambassador claimed her third Enduro World Championship title. The rider of Team Lapierre Zipp Collective is one step further in the history of the discipline.

When Isabeau Courdurier arrived in Châtel for the final stage of the Enduro World Cup, she knew that the title was in her grasp. The Frenchwoman had a clear lead over her closest pursuer Morgane Charre, but a fall or mechanical incident could still change everything. The title was inevitably going to come down to the two French riders, who outshone the competition this year.

In the end, although Isabeau couldn't prevent her rival from taking the win, the Frenchwoman proved ultra-solid to resist the pressure and finish just six seconds behind Morgane Charre. The two drivers were monstrous throughout the day, battling over seconds and hundredths and finishing, for example, stage 5 up to Lindaret with the same time (4:16:173).

But with 3183 points to her rival's 3021, it was Isabeau Courdurier who took the world title, her third in her discipline. It's her second title on a Team Lapierre Zipp Collective bike, and her victory brings her level with two of mountain bike enduro's benchmarks, Cécile Ravanel and Tracy Moseley, who have also won the enduro world championship three times. Hats off to Isabeau!
