There is something deeply artistic in Marion Haerty's vision of freeride snowboarding, a symbiosis between nature, the snowy mountains and the line drawn in the powder by her snowboard. Inspired by her older brother, her love affair with snowboarding began when she was about ten years old and continues today on the summits of the world.
Marion is passionate about the beauty of her sport and hopes to continue in the field of freeride snowboarding video when she puts competition aside. But for now, her goal is to win another World Champion title at the 2021 Freeride World Tour.
Three times freeride snowboarding World Champion, 2017, 2019 and 2020, Marion Haerty received us at her home near Chamonix to reveal her vision of snowboarding, and hopes to inspire and convince women to join her in the practice of this extreme sport still very much dominated by the male gender.
