Unveiled this week, the film "Resilience" looks back at the 2021 season of the Lapierre Zipp Collective team, in which Isabeau Courdurier finished on the overall podium.
The 2019 World Champion, France's Isabeau Courdurier had a special season in the 2021 Enduro World Series. Third overall, the Private Sport Shop ambassador dug deep to get this podium after learning of the death of her father Jean-Luc Courdurier at the beginning of the season.
It is on this year 2021 that the film "Resilience" returns. Shot at the heart of the Lapierre Zipp Collective Team (which also includes Adrien Dailly, considered one of the best enduro riders in the world), this 23-minute production was shot throughout the 2021 Enduro World Series season. The documentary recounts the important victories and the joys of the podiums, as well as the most beautiful images from the Lapierre Spicy Team's rounds of the EWS 2021 or from training.
It was also an opportunity to see how the pilots handle moments of doubt, like Adrien Dailly's difficult start to the season, who finally recovered as the races went on, finishing the year on a fine podium at the final event of the season in Tweed Valley, Scotland. Isabeau participated in the entire season and even won the opening stage in Val di Fassa, Italy. The Frenchwoman will not manage to keep her world title (2020 was a blank year because of Covid), but will still win a nice title of French MTB Enduro Champion in Thonon-les-Mémises in the Alps before climbing on the box at the general international level.
"Resilience" shows Isabeau and Adrien's passion for cycling, and proves that it is as much in victory as in moments of doubt that one builds a career, a character and the respect of one's peers.
