Alaska, Grandes Jorasses, Yosemite... The summits are in your movie theaters

Vertigo and adventure are on the program for the next edition of the Montagne en Scène festival, which is coming to 180 cities across Europe.

Since November 14, Montagne en Scène has launched its Winter Edition with the grand premiere at the Grand Rex in Paris with the presence of many athletes and directors including Charles Dubouloz, Seb Montaz-Rosset, Samuel Anthamatten, Victor Delerue and Mathieu Rivoire.

This will be followed by 200 dates in 180 cities across Europe for this winter version of a landmark festival that has been around for nine years now. This year, mountaineering, climbing and skiing are in the spotlight in four productions that will take you from Alaska to the Alps via Yosemite. After "Zabardast", director Jérôme Tanon is back with a film that once again blends humor, magnificent landscapes, intimate questioning, poetry and big, committed descents! We're off to Alaska, the land of "spines", with its bewitching, technical shoulders of snow, in the company of Victor Delerue (double Freeride world champion) and Sam Anthamatten, well known to Montagne en Scène regulars. A fun, immersive film that will leave you craving the great outdoors and powder!

The Wanderers of Mount Logan

At 5959m, Mont-Logan is the 2nd highest peak in North America, and certainly one of the wildest mountains in the world. To reach it, Hélias Millerioux, Alex Marchesseau, Thomas Delfino and Gregory Douillard didn't choose the easy option. The approach is on foot and skis, in total autonomy, with 80kg per person to lug across hundreds of kilometers of moraines and tormented glaciers! Then it's on to the East Ridge, with its 4,000-metre vertical drop that has never been skied before, before a raft trip back to the ocean... Total adventure, with friends, in a hostile but grandiose natural setting... Magical!

The adventure of a lifetime, extreme and intimate, magnificently recounted by director Sébastien Montaz-Rosset, who was on hand to follow Charles. "De l'ombre à la lumière", a rock'n'roll journey that takes us through one of the most beautiful ascents of recent decades!
