The Private Sport Shop ambassador reveals his hellish descent on this legendary enduro mass start.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Normally, the M\u00e9gavalanche de l'Alpe d'Huez offers an epic 20 km descent with 2,600 meters of vertical drop. But this year, weather conditions prevented the start from the traditional Pic Blanc glacier at an altitude of 3,300 metres. Only the training runs (see the video below of Kilian Bron on one of his starts) were able to take place on snow at this height, while the qualifications and finals were contested lower down, where the snow was no longer present (at least, in smaller quantities).<\/p>\n\n\n
