Honor to the Frenchies with Johanne Defay, the 27-year-old from Reunion Island. A professional surfer committed to the World Championship, our Private Sport Shop ambassador impressed from the moment she entered the WCT in 2014. In her first year at the heart of the world's women's surfing elite, she placed 8th. Enough to earn her the title of \"Rookie of the Year\". Her best results? A 5th place overall in 2016 and 2018, as well as four rounds won (US Open 2015, Fiji Pro 2016, Uluwatu Pro 2018 and Surf Ranch 2021). Prior to the seventh event of the year, Johanne currently sits in 2nd place in the world rankings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
