Benjamin Roubiol returns to the OCC at UTMB 2024

"The more prepared you are, the less stressed you are" is the philosophy of Benjamin Roubiol, a professional runner who recently took part in the OCC at the UTMB, one of the most important events of the season. He tells us how this race brings together the best and pushes everyone to surpass themselves: "There's a high density of runners, so we can run some tough races.

"My strategy was to start in the front group, but the climbs... they're not my strong point, so I wasn't able to take on that strategy," he tells us of his performance at the OCC, a short and intense format.

Despite a difficult start, he didn't give up, gained a few places in the last hour and finished the race satisfied!

As for the future, Benjamin remains motivated and confident: "These are achievements I'll be able to use on longer races. The big goal for me is the Worlds, and I'll have to qualify for the French team.

Let's hear it!
