We recently met the members of the new gravel team in Gruissan, and Axelle Dubau-Prévot and Hugo Drechou introduced us to this brand new entity, created by Franck Paporé, the team manager.
The team is made up of six top athletes: Hugo Drechou, Alexys Brunel, Claudia Galicia (Spain), Diederik Deelen (Netherlands), Benjamin Perry (Canada), and Axelle Dubau-Prévot.
Gravel biking has been on the rise for several years now, and is the perfect combination of road biking and mountain biking. Axelle and Hugo, who come from these two backgrounds respectively, confess to being delighted by their switch to gravel bikes.
The team has an ambitious schedule for the coming weeks, with races in the USA, Mexico, and Iceland. Their aim is to continue developing as Europe's leading professional gravel team, while cultivating a spirit of unity and discovery.
