Lucille Germain, pro trail runner and UTMB participant, tells us about her experience at the heart of the biggest week of the year for her and her team. Between pressure, expectations and moments of doubt, Lucille drew on her strengths to put in a good performance at the OCC.
"I'm proud that I didn't give up and that I had the mental strength to go all the way," she says.
Despite a difficult start and a sorely tested mental state, Lucille was able to pull herself together and cross the finish line.
Her favorite moment? The arrival at the Col de Balme refuge, where she found herself smiling again. Lots of people were there to support the athletes.
